Dissolve 2 tablespoons of food-grade citric acid powder in 16 oz of warm distilled water with half a teaspoon of liquid dish soap. Spray onto water-spotted shower glass and let sit for 10 minutes. The gentle acid chelates calcium bonds without etching the glass surface. Squeegee clean.
Baking Soda & Hydrogen Peroxide Grout Revitalizer
Mix 1/2 cup of baking soda with 1/4 cup of 3% hydrogen peroxide into a spreadable slurry. Apply to grout joints with a brush. Hydrogen peroxide lifts dark discoloration while the mild alkaline sodium bicarbonate provides gentle scrubbing action.
Never use harsh abrasive steel scouring pads on glazed ceramic or polished porcelain tiles. Microscopic scratches compromise the glaze, making tiles harbor grime faster.
